Really interested in the concept of describing patient journeys in primary care pictorially. Like the way a Feynman diagram made subatomic particle interaction simple. Keep trying to imagine how it would work - a roadmap with motorways A roads etc or a molecular model with different sized nodes - key-lines.com is interesting - could that work? providers of care as the names and different patients as the arrows - need to look at common reasons for why some arrows are bigger than others?

Do you need an NDA?'

Do you need an NDA?“ “ “while you obviously dont want to give away IP - have you considered creating a NDA so that willing people can find out about your product and can offer advice support/criticism for you without exploiting it themselves? Having a NDA should also mean there isnt a patent problem about the idea being talked about in public.

Im thinking of selling some training videos online, basic powerpoint stuff with voice over. Anyone know of a good cheap platform to use? Needs to be secure - do all the billing etc. I don’t want to have to build my own website but would like to be able to embed and or use direct links/have my own section on the site.

For 3months we are going to push to the lmiits the syndication functionality in the CCG-connect websites we get from Health2Works. Stories on the CCG sites are syndicated to all the practice sites multiplying the audience by 20x. South Cheshire Health CCG site got 700+ unique visitors last month and the 2 live practice sites got over 1500 betwen them. We are planning on rolling out to 15+ more. The Vale Royal CCG site gets a similar amount. We are seeking stories/news/events to pubilsh on the sites relevant to a south cheshire audience - if you’d like us to consider your story email it to me.

ok - anyone know of a hopefully free to use screen viewer piece of software?

ok - anyone know of a hopefully free to use screen viewer piece of software? Im fed up of people ringing me asking for advice and having to guess whats on their screen. I know you can use Skype to share screens but they have to install that and have a username - I’m more after what support teams have which is a website they can go to with a ?java app to download and install that allows remote viewing of the screen by an authorised user (i.e. me!) Is there a website or service that does this? I might pay a yearly sub or a per use payment - screen control would be even better but not essential.

Read code help needed'

Read code help needed“ “ “We are asking practices to review all patients on digoxin, amiodarone etc without a coded diagnosis of af to see if they have it. Obviously if they do have it they will code them as such removing themselves from that search … What code do they use for on treatment appropriately no af? I can find an EMIS code af excluded which would be good if it was a read code. Thoughts on appropriate code to use or different methodology of checking that practices had done the work appreciated.
