Books I recommend 1

I was chatting with a friend recently about non-fiction books that have impacted on my life in some way – whether enjoyable, insightful or educational. Ive come up with an interesting list which I plan to share on here over the coming weeks as an intermittent distraction. Be interested to know if you have read them and if they had such an impact on you as me. First up a book that almost made me give up medicine and do physics instead. Genius – the unauthorised biography of Richard Feynman a total hero of mine. One of my claims to fame is one of my patients knew him albeit briefly – which might lead me to another book!

also by Feynman and definitely worth reading his book
Surely you’re joking and and the sequel – “what do you care” – that has a great section on the Challenger investigation and the problems at NASA :
