EMIS Web for Community Pharmacists
Just seen this press release from EMIS health. Really good idea. About time pharmacists were given some tools to help utilise their skills.
I’d like some more detail on the security but presumably patients consent to go on the caseload of the pharmacist and allow them access to their records with smart-card controlled access.
It could make medication reviews more meaningful, perhaps allow them to get involved in specialist drug monitoring and even chronic disease management.
