EMIS protocols & QMasters are great!
I’m often very critical of the Primarycare EPR I use - EMIS Web. See my article However one of its great features is protocols - effectively a very basic macro language that allows quite clever functionality. (Of course i think it could be better and is missing some features..) One of the best uses is on http://www.qmasters.co.uk/ where they have developed a load of tools that run in the background and try and correct bad coding. You type in the wrong code - it tells you and changes it to the right one - trying to drive up data quality. they also have some other nice tools. Check them out.
Now they cost money - not much and i don’t want to do them out of an income but i do wonder if we should create some sort of open source GITHub like repository of such useful protocols?
